I Was Thinking . . .: Our Last Few Days of Summer Vacation

I'm a native Texan, but have lived in North Carolina for 13 years. I've been married to Vanessa for 31 years and we have 3 kids,2 grandsons, and a granddaughter. I've been lead pastor at Crossroads Church in Lillington, NC since 1997. Crossroads is full of great people who love God and want to help others find their way back to Him.

This is an important time for both me and the church. I've served Crossroads for 13 years. I'm so grateful for a church that is willing to try different ways of reaching and discipling people. Sometimes things work -- sometimes they don't, but the great people of Crossroads just want to honor and obey God!

I'll use this blog to record what I'm learning from the Lord and from others.
